Survivors of a festival attacked by Hamas are suing Israeli authorities and demanding 50 million euros in compensation.

About 50 survivors of the Hamas attack on a music festival on October 7 in Israel have filed a claim for 50 million euros in compensation against the Ministry of Defense and the army for negligence.

The lawsuit was filed in a Tel Aviv court based on subsequent information from Israeli security authorities that they had information about possible threats against the festival, located near Kibbutz Reim, one of the sites where Hamas has carried out attacks.

“It only takes one phone call from representatives of the Israel Defense Forces. [FDI] to the commander in charge of the detachment so that it can be dispersed immediately,” the group’s complaint states, the newspaper reported. Times of Israel.
