  • 69′

What a mess. After Di Maria’s deep pass to Arthur Cabral, Arruabarrena left the penalty area and collided with both the striker and teammate. The ball fell to Joao Mario, who fired wide.

  • 69′

Cristo tries to throw another punch, but Morato knocks the ball away.

  • 62′

Rafa is betrayed by the grass! The striker broke free with the ball and found himself isolated in front of Arruabarrena, but as he prepared to shoot, the ball bounced off a tuft of grass and the shot went wide of the goal.

  • 62′

Christo shoots with his right foot from outside the penalty area, but the ball goes wide.

  • 58′

Joao Mario was very close to the score 3:0. After good collective work, Arthur Cabral played smartly on his colleague, who saw how his shot went on target if not for Milovanov’s undercut.

  • 56′

Sylla, one of Arouca’s unluckiest players, shoots wide but remains the home side’s first threat in the second half. And this is after the wonderful departure of Christ.

  • 55′

Kokcu was caught offside after a pass from Aursnes.

  • 54′

Galovic took the corner for Benfica. The game is much warmer than in the first half. Benfica’s second goal also helped the Reds settle the match.

  • 47′

TARGET! FROM BENFICA! The score is 2:0 in favor of Kokcu. First of all, the move was still ruled invalid due to the fact that Rafa, the player who provided the assist, was offside. However, after a VAR check, it was determined that the striker was in a legal position. Credit also goes to Di Maria, who played the ball to Rafa and sent a low cross to Kokcu for his touch.

  • Beginning of part 2

  • Interval

  • 45 minutes

Another serious threat to Benfica’s defence. Arouca scores, but the move is invalidated. It is Cristo who puts the ball into the goal, but before that Mujica was offside when he received a pass.

  • 41′

What an incredible failure. Christo got the rebound after Trubin’s defense and had everything to score, but he shoots a lot from above, but he shoots from above. What a waste.

  • 41′

Arouca is close to the gate. Thanks Trubin! But what a mistake Kokchu made. The midfielder made a pass into the neutral zone just outside Benfica’s penalty area. Sylla won the ball and passed it to Mujica, who saw Trubin’s mistake deny him a goal.

  • 39′

TARGET! THIS IS FROM BENFICA! Rafa makes it 1-0. The third time really matters. The striker, who already had 2 goals disallowed, received a deep pass from Di Maria, controlled the ball well and beat Arruabarrena with his right foot. Javi Montero brings the striker into play.

  • 39′

The shot was deflected into the lower left corner of the goal. Rafa (Benfica) struck with his right foot from the center of the penalty area. Angel Di Maria provided the assist.

  • 37′

Sylla found himself in full space and shot from long range, but this shot did not cause any particular concern for Trubin. The ball goes wide.

  • 36 minutes

Another offside for Rafa after Morato’s pass.

  • 30 minutes

Another missed goal for Benfica and again for Rafa. This time the forward received a pass from Orsnes and converted it well, but in fact ended up ahead of Arouca’s defence.

  • 22′

Mujica is close to his goal! What nonsense from Otamendi. The central defender passes to Eboue, who takes the ball and passes it to the striker. The shot goes slightly wide of the goal defended by Trubin.

  • 21′

Arthur Cabral tries to score from distance, but the shot is low and weak. Arruabarrena defends calmly.

  • 20 minutes

Great shot from Milovanov. The Arouca player hits hard from more than 30 meters from the goal, and the ball passes close to the goal defended by Trubin.

  • 19 minutes

    I sing for Arok.

  • 19 minutes

Mujica took advantage of Otamendi’s poor chest control just outside the Benfica penalty area to fire a shot, but the Eagles captain redeemed himself by turning the ball over for a corner.

  • 17 minutes

Milovanov throws the first shot at Arouca, but the ball goes away.

  • 24 minutes

João Mário had to be treated for his injury but recovered.

  • 14 minutes

The goal was disallowed against Benfica! It would be from Rafa, but there is also an excellent pass from Joao Neves to Arthur Cabral, although the Brazilian, according to the VAR review, was slightly ahead of the opponent’s defense. The striker started and fed Rafa, who sent the ball into the back of the goal in the penalty area.

  • 14 minutes

Javi Montero receives a yellow card. The Arouca player got to the ball later than Joao Neves and ended up blocking the Benfica midfielder’s free-kick.

  • 4′

Rafa was caught offside after Joao Mario’s pass.

  • 3′

The first threat comes from Benfica. Di Maria found himself in front of goal, still outside the penalty area, and tried his luck, but the shot ended up in the hands of Arruabarrena.
