Trophy winners FC Porto qualified for the quarter-finals of the Portuguese Cup on Tuesday with a 4-0 win when they visited Estoril Praia in a round of 16 match.
Evanilson, who scored a hat-trick in the 24th, 31st (penalty) and 56th minutes, and Galeno, in the 76th, built a rout for the “dragons”, winners of the last two editions of the “queen” competition and who in this season’s Games with Estorilistas counted as defeats: one in the championship, the other in the League Cup.
With Sporting’s 4-0 win over Tondela, Porto became the second team guaranteed a place in the next round of the Portuguese Cup, with the round of 16 matches running until Thursday.
