Adan Canto, best known for his roles in TV series “The Cleaning Lady” and “Narcos,” died on Monday at the age of 42. The actor battled appendix cancer.
In The Cleaning Lady, Adam Canto played gangster Armand Morales, who recruits his mother into a criminal organization as a cleaning lady after she witnesses a violent murder. The actor was unable to participate in the third season due to illness.
The Mexican also gained fame in the film industry after participating in the film X-Men: Days of Future Past and the TV series The Revenant.
The actor was born in Coahuila, Mexico, but grew up in Del Rio, Texas. It was in 2009 that he made his television debut in the series Estado de Gracia.
In addition to his acting career, Canto also had a musical career, writing songs for several Mexican television programs and films.
