The XXI PS/Madeira Congress, marking the confirmation of Paulo Cafofo as the new president, will take place this Saturday and Sunday in Funchal, with the presence of the party’s general secretary, Pedro Nuno Santos, at the closing session.
Ahead of a meeting held by the Lusa news agency on Thursday, the PS/Madeira leader suggested that the regional structure would be open to other political forces for an alternative government solution to the PSD in the region, reaffirming his party as the “great driving force.” “changes.

The XXI Regional Congress, scheduled to open at 10:45, will confirm him as the new leader of PS/Madeira.
The work agenda for this Saturday includes the presentation of a report on the activities of higher bodies, as well as discussion and voting on proposed legislative changes, and a presentation and vote on the global strategy proposal from 14:45 to 18:00. and discussion and voting on several industry proposals.
