Following the Iowa caucus, Republican candidates now head to two key televised debates and primaries in New Hampshire, Nevada and other cities, which could give Donald Trump an advantage heading into Super Tuesday in March.
Former President Trump’s comfortable victory in the Iowa caucuses does not dampen the quest of Ron DeSantis, the Florida governor, and Nikki Haley, the former ambassador, who finished second and third in the first showdown, respectively, and who promise further impetus for the next round of Republican elections.
Left behind for now is Vivak Ramaswamy, who dropped out of the race in fourth place with less than 10% of the vote, expressing his support for Donald Trump.
