Braga returned to winning ways thanks to a goal scored by Alvaro Djalo in the 11th minute of the derby against Famalicao. The home side were the first to threaten Chiquinho and Zayd, Matheus both making excellent saves, while Braga came close to scoring through Ricard Orta in the 17th minute (Luis Junior scored in goal) and in the 29th minute in in this case, a magnificent shot flew over the crossbar.
The pace continued in the second half, with Famalicão gaining the advantage thanks to a penalty converted by Cádiz in the 62nd minute after the Venezuelan striker’s header was saved with his hand by Jose Fonte. Manuel Oliveira, after viewing the images, pointed out the violation. Braga equalized in the 73rd minute thanks to a goal from Borja. Luis Junior did not fully save Bruma’s shot, and Roger helped the defender to make it 1:1. In the 88th minute, Famalican was awarded another penalty, but this time Manuel Oliveira overturned the first decision. At 90+11, Djalo scored with a header from a corner and brought Braga victory.
