A man in his 50s was shot in both legs early Wednesday morning in Fanzeres, Gondomar municipality.
The alarm came in around 1:05 p.m. For what CM As it turned out, the crime occurred after a disagreement between the victim, who was walking, and two men who were driving next to the statue of the Unknown Soldier. At that moment, one of the men picked up a firearm and fired two shots, which hit the victim in both legs. After the shots were fired, the men fled. INEM was called to the scene.
After first aid was provided, the man was taken to Santo Antonio Hospital.
GNR officials attended the scene, but since it was a gun crime, the Judicial Police were called in and are now investigating and collecting evidence that could lead to suspects.
