Spain, which eliminated Portugal in the group stage of the Football League of Nations, will play Italy in the semi-finals, while the Netherlands, hosts of the Final Four, will play Croatia, as determined by the draw that took place this Wednesday.
The Dutch and Croats start in Rotterdam on 14 June, the day before Spain, who were defeated 2-1 by France in the final of the previous edition, will face Italy, the European champions, the next day, 15 June, in Enschede.
The Spaniards, who won Group 2 with a points lead over the Portuguese thanks to a 1-0 triumph achieved in Braga, will face the Transalpines again in the semi-finals of the competition after imposing themselves 2-1 in 2021 in Milan.
The winning teams discuss the trophy on Sunday 18 June in Rotterdam, shortly after the losing teams play the match for third and fourth place in Enschede.
The Portuguese team won the first edition of the Nations League in 2019 by beating the Netherlands in the final 1–0 in a game played at the Estádio do Dragão in Porto.
