This Monday, Porto suffered their fourth defeat in the Portuguese Football League, losing 3-2 to Arroca on matchday 21, further delaying the title race.
After a zero in the match with Rio Ave, Porto fans fell for the goals of Rafa Mujica (first minute), Cristo Gonzalez (30, penalties) and Jason (61), as well as goals from Evanilson (eight, penalties) and Francisco Conceição (86).
Sérgio Conceição’s “eleventh” team, which ended with 10th place due to the sending off of Fabio Cardoso (90+6 minutes), remained third with 45 points against 52 for leaders Benfica and Sporting (one game less), and Arroca added his fourth win in a row and moved up to seventh place with 28.
