Rui Rocha, president of the Liberal Initiative, said this Saturday in Guimarães that “the Portuguese should remain calm when it comes to the statement of the Attorney General’s Office.”
He adds that “justice has its times and must be believed in.”
The IL President explains that the party’s position is “very clear” and states that “as soon as the conditions for participation in the elections arise, this power must be transferred to the Madeirans.”
“Justice is not an absolutely certain science, the main thing is that there is no pressure, let justice work and go its own way, parties just have to present their proposals and measures in the elections,” he says.
He also says that when it comes to corruption, there must be “preventive measures” because “those appointed to do favors always do favors, so the simpler the processes, the less corruption.”
