Several activists from Gulagu.net, a Russian human rights group created by activist Vladimir Osechkin, claim that several Russian spies from the FSB (Russian Secret Service) visited Alexei Navalny’s prison two days before his death, according to reports by O. Independent.
According to the newspaper, during a visit to the prison, Russian intelligence services turned off CCTV cameras and listening devices.
Gulagu.net activists They also ensure that the visit will be included in the report of the local delegation of the Federal Penitentiary Service.
Navalny’s team has previously accused authorities of deliberately hiding the body of the Kremlin opposition leader to “cover their tracks” in what they said was an apparent act of murder.
“They are trying to cover their tracks, so they do not hand over the body to the family and that is why they are hiding it,” said Alexei Navalny’s press secretary Kira Yarmysh.
Navalny died on Friday at the age of 47 after a walk in the Arctic Wolf colony in Kharp, where he was serving a three-decade sentence.
