The government summoned the Russian ambassador to Lisbon to clarify Navalny’s death

The Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has summoned the Russian Ambassador to Lisbon, Mikhail Kamynin, to give an explanation in connection with the death of Russian opponent Alexei Navalny, the Palácio das Necessidades reported on Tuesday.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has summoned the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Lisbon to provide clarification in connection with the death of Alexei Navalny, one of the main political opponents of the Vladimir Putin regime,” the ministry, headed by João Gomes, said today in a statement.
