The Liberal Initiative (IL) will sweep through 12 of mainland Portugal’s 18 constituencies during the March 10 legislative election campaign and aims to demonstrate that the country has the potential to become much more.
Under the motto “Portugal with a future”, the IL, led by Rui Rocha, will pass through the districts of Aveiro, Braga, Beja, Coimbra, Évora, Faro, Leiria, Lisbon, Porto, Setúbal, Viana do Castelo and Viseu, according to the official election campaign program. distributed to journalists.

While declaring that it wants Portugal to grow and function, the party emphasizes that it is through liberal policies that the most developed countries have reached their potential.

IL, which kicks off the March legislative elections on Sunday, February 25, with an event in Setúbal, then heads to Évora in the afternoon to challenge the Portuguese, especially the youngest, not to change the country, but changing the country underlines the campaign agenda. .
The caravan will then head to Setúbal on the 26th, with IL continuing south on Tuesday, passing through Beja and Faro.
On the 28th and 29th, Ile will split the campaign between Lisbon and Setúbal.
The first trip to Braga, the area where Rui Rocha is from and where he tops the list, will take place on March 1, after a morning visit to Leiria.
Viana do Castelo and Porto were the districts chosen to host the final Saturday of the campaign, which continues on Sunday in Braga and Viseu.
The final week of the campaign begins on March 4 with a new trip to Lisbon, followed by a focus on Setubal on the 5th, Braga and Porto on the 6th, and the final two days reserved for Porto, Coimbra, Aveiro and Leiria.
After voting in Braga, Rui Rocha will head to Lisbon, where he will spend election night on March 10.
