Wout van Aert (visma-Lease a Bike) was proclaimed winner of the 76th edition of the Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne which was held on Sunday, February 25, on a 196.4 kilometer route between Kortrijk and Kuurne.
Van Aert reached the final meters escaping along with Tim Wellens (UAE Emirates) and Oier Lazkano (Movistar). The victory was disputed between the three and the best was the Belgian cyclist from Visma. He is also Belgian Wellens was second and the basque Oier Lazkano completed the podium after being third.
Behind, At one minute and 28 seconds the platoon led by Christope Laporte arrived (Visma-Lease a Bike) who finished fourth.
