The analyst told Lusa that the historic scale of the blank vote in Michigan’s Democratic primary is the first concrete indication that Biden may have “serious problems” with those protesting support for Israel.
The campaign to vote untethered over Joe Biden in the primaries has already received more than 75,000 votes with 67% of ballots counted this morning.
“Once the number exceeds 20,000, unreported votes will become a national problem, a major lesson for tomorrow,” said Portuguese-American Daniela Melo, a professor at Boston University. “The fact is that foreign policy may have much more weight in this election than in previous elections, not only on the issue of Ukraine, but also on the issue of Israel,” he said.
