This Thursday, Sporting beat Benfica 2-1 in the first semi-final of the Portuguese Cup, giving them the advantage of being present in the Jamora final.
A goal just nine minutes later from Pedro Goncalves and another early in the second half (54) from Sweden’s Victor Gyökeres gave the Lions a comfortable two-goal lead, which Benfica erased with 68 through Norway’s Aursnes.
The two teams will meet again on April 3 at the Estadio da Luz.
