Prosecutors confirm that Bruno Ribeiro, the 22-year-old man who died in the early hours of Sunday after being attacked outside a food and drink trailer in Carcavelos, Cascais, was attacked with a “wooden stick”. and inflicted “blows on various parts of the body, especially on the head.”
The attacker was Josimar Almeida, about 30 years old, who manages the aforementioned trailer where he also lives. Disagreements arose between them and “a conflict broke out,” as described by the Lisbon District Prosecutor’s Office, “after which the accused pursued the offended party, armed with a wooden stick, and when he reached him, struck him in various parts of the body.” his body, especially his head.”
Bruno Ribeiro died at the scene and was pronounced dead at 5:35 a.m., approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes after the attack.
Josimar Almeida was placed in pre-trial detention.
