Five people were killed in an attack by the Russian army in Odessa this Wednesday. Russia’s actions came as Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis visited the important port in southern Ukraine.
“Today we witnessed this attack. I know that there are casualties. There are dead and wounded,” the President of Ukraine said, without specifying details, during a joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Greece, the Ukrinform agency reports.
“At the end [da visita às instalações portuárias], we heard the sounds of anti-aircraft sirens and explosions very close to us. We didn’t have time to take cover,” Mitsotakis said after the explosion, calling it an “impressive experience.”
