Swedish footballer Christopher Olsson was diagnosed with blood clots in the brain, information appeared this Thursday in a statement from the Danish club Midtjylland, the player’s club.
The Swedish midfielder, who has been in hospital on artificial respiration since February 20, was diagnosed with blood clots in the brain.
“After conducting several examinations, CT scans and tests in recent weeks, doctors have confirmed that Olsson has small blood clots on both sides of his brain due to a very rare inflammation,” the statement reads, and despite the seriousness of the player’s situation, doctors say, that the problem is “stable” and that they see “little progress” once the player regains consciousness.
The 28-year-old has appeared in 21 Midtjylland matches this season and provided six assists.
