Clarinha, a woman who had been in a coma for 24 years, died Thursday evening in Vitoria, Espirito Santo, Brazil, reports globe. In 2000, a woman was hit by a bus on a busy avenue in the center of Vitoria. According to eyewitnesses, at the time of the incident he was running away from the man. Since she had no documents, she was identified as “Clarinha”.

The facial comparison method was used to search databases for missing persons with physical characteristics similar to those of “Clarigny”. A group of scientists then suggested that Clarinha was a child who disappeared in 1976 in Guarapari, Espirito Santo. The family of the girl, who was one year and nine months old at the time, was from Minas Gerais and was on holiday in Espirito Santo.
