Paulo Machado is a Brazilian who was killed and mutilated by his boyfriend in Lapa, Lisbon.
This Tuesday, Lisbon City Council staff discovered half a body in a garbage bag covered with a blanket next to a container in Lapa.
There was a tattoo on one of the legs of the remains, which helped the Judicial Police (PJ) identify the man.
The killer is in preventive custody in the prison of the Lisbon Judicial Police.
Judicial police stopped searching for the rest of the Brazilian’s body because they believed that what was missing from the corpse had been sent to a landfill.
According to the joint venture, the victim’s boyfriend used two knives when committing the crime. One was used to kill a comrade, and the other was used to dismember the body.
