Armando Evangelista has been free on the market since leaving Brazilians Goiás in November, his first experience abroad. Famalicão marks the manager’s third adventure in the top tier of Portuguese football, following a short stint with V. Guimarães’ first team in 2015/16 and two successful seasons at Arouca in 2021/22 and 2022. /23.
At Wolves, he was responsible for the club’s return to League One, managing to then ensure they remained in the top flight in their first season and subsequently qualified for European competition the previous season.
