Coach Jose Mourinho said this Sunday that he can “coach anywhere” after the Italians left Roma in January, making it clear that he wants to manage the football team in the summer.
Mou left the Giallorossi on January 16 in his third season in Rome after winning the Europa Conference League in 2021/22 and reaching the Europa League final last season, losing to Spanish side Sevilla on penalties.
“Zero zero [novidades]. I don’t have a club, I’m free. But I want to work, in the summer I want to work,” the 61-year-old Portuguese coach told reporters at the Algarve International Circuit (AIA) in Portimão, where the Portuguese MotoGP Grand Prix is taking place.
The possibility of returning as a coach to a Portuguese club after stints at Benfica, Uniau de Leiria and Porto cannot be ruled out.
“Never say no, especially in football. My life is football, I can train anywhere and I have no problems,” he concluded.
