Russian authorities have raised the death toll from Friday’s attack on the Crocus City Hall concert hall to 182, according to the latest report released this Sunday evening, as emergency services recover more bodies from the rubble.
The latest balance shows 137 deaths.
The Moscow Region Department of Health published on its digital page a list of deaths, including data on hospitalizations: 101 people remain hospitalized, 61 are in outpatient treatment, 20 have been discharged, for a total of 182 injured.
During the searches, investigators found two Saiga assault rifles, more than 500 rounds of ammunition and 28 magazines, which the attackers abandoned at the scene before escaping and after setting the premises on fire.
According to Russian authorities, security forces have so far detained 11 people in connection with the attack, four of whom personally participated in the attack.
The suspects in Friday’s attack appeared on Sunday evening in a district court in the Russian capital. With a large police presence around the Basmanny District Court.
The first suspect, Dalerjon Barotovich Mirzoev, appeared before Moscow’s Basmansky Court, and Judge Elena Lenskaya ordered pre-trial detention until May 2 after she was charged with committing a terrorist act committed by an organized group of people, according to an article of the Criminal Code. The Criminal Code of the Russian Federation provides for punishment up to life imprisonment.
