A 24-year-old man was arrested by the GNR de Lamas in Santa Maria da Feira this Monday on suspicion of domestic violence against his former partner, as well as possession of illegal drugs and weapons. The detainee used physical, verbal and psychological violence against the 37-year-old victim.
During the course of the investigation, authorities seized 311.25 grams of hashish in the suspect’s home and car, corresponding to 622 doses, a replica firearm, two cartridges of unknown caliber, 12-gauge ammunition containing lead, a replica handmade weapon/firearm made from ammunition shells, two sabers, three scabbards for storing sabers, two rattles, a bow, a wooden bag of arrows for a bow, four wooden sticks resembling arrows, a wooden spear, two baseball bats, four razors and three thousand six hundred and fifteen euro banknotes.
The detainee was present before the judge, who ordered remand.
The operation was supported by Feira’s GNR and the tactical teams of the GNR Intervention Detachment of Aveiro.
