Dancer, 34, among those killed in Nepal plane crash after pilot pulled the wrong lever

The 34-year-old British dancer was one of the fatal victims of the Yeti Airlines plane crash in Nepal last year. According to investigators, the cause of the crash was the mistake of the pilot, who made a mistake and pressed the wrong lever.

According to Daily mailRuan Crichton, from Essex, was a physiotherapy student living in Nepal with his French girlfriend while doing an internship at a spinal injury clinic in Kathmandu.

He had already toured Europe as a professional dancer. The dancer has already studied and worked in London, Finland and Slovakia. She studied at the Brentwood Central School of Dance and then graduated from the Central Ballet School in London in 2008.

The tragedy occurred the day after his birthday.

The investigation has now concluded that the plane crashed after one of the pilots mistakenly changed the angle of the propeller instead of the angle of the plane’s flaps. Yeti Airlines Flight 691 was carrying 68 passengers, including 15 foreigners, and four crew members. The country’s deadliest accident since 1992 killed 72 people.

The investigation determined that the cause of death of Ruan Crichton was injuries to the head, chest and abdomen caused by a blunt object.

The inquest into Crichton’s death included his parents and siblings, who, according to daily mail, They hugged as the verdict was read.

According to daily mail, Hazel Smith, director of Brentwood Ballet, said the school was “devastated.”
