This Friday, a 27-year-old man was shot dead on Rua Doutor Pedro Souza in the Ramalde district of Porto. The victim was released from prison about two months ago for a drug trafficking crime and was killed in retribution.
According to CMWhile walking along the sidewalk, the man was surprised by a hooded man hiding in the vegetation with a gun. He was shot five times: three in the head and two in the chest.
The victim was accompanied by a friend who was not injured.
Despite the efforts of rescuers, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The body will be taken to the Porto Institute of Legal Medicine for an autopsy.
The suspect fled after committing the crime. The alarm came in around 12:40 p.m.
