Russian intelligence services said that three people detained in Dagestan are connected with the terrorist attack in Moscow.

Russia’s security services (FSB) said on Monday that those arrested on Sunday in Dagestan and accused of preparing a terrorist attack are related to the perpetrators of the recent attack on a concert hall near Moscow.

The National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC) announced on Sunday the arrest of three people who were planning to “commit a series of terrorist crimes”, ten days after the Crocus City Hall attack, which killed at least 144 people.

Russian security services, which reported four arrests on Sunday, said this Monday that foreign nationals were “preparing a terrorist attack in public places in Kaspiysk”, a city located near the capital of Dagestan, Russia’s volatile Muslim-majority Caucasus republic.
