A CMTV topped the cable market in March, gaining as much audience as all its competitors combined. Average share of television in morning Post was 5.7%, which is exactly equal to the sum of CNN, SIC Notícias and RTP-3. This result represents the end of a streak of 24 consecutive months always in the lead.
Channel 8’s growth across all cable platforms is significant, both in the daily average and in prime time, where the bulk of television consumption and advertising investment is concentrated.
In this prime time range CMTV was up nearly 22% compared to the same month last year, while the daily volume was up 16.9%.
