The hotel bed that Cristiano Ronaldo slept in during his stay in Slovenia for a private game between the two teams will be auctioned off. Initial bidding starts at $5,300 (4,923 euros), the TV channel reports. Vion. Proceeds from the auction will go to charity.
“Since this was a special and unique event, we decided to prepare a unique surprise in which all fans can take part. We do not know when we will have the opportunity to welcome Ronaldo to Slovenia again,” a statement released by the unit hotel said, quoting Vion.
“At a special auction we will offer the bed on which star Cristiano Ronaldo slept in our house. We wish everyone good luck and successful participation in the event,” he added.
This is not the first time an object associated with CR7 has been put up for auction. When Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Saudi Arabia, the shirt he wore in his last game Manchester United against Aston Villa was sold for more than $48,000 (€44,587).
