Jorge Jesus’ Al Hilal further extended their winning record and lead at the top of the Saudi Football League on Tuesday, while Cristiano Ronaldo scored a second straight hat-trick against Luis Castro’s Al Nasr on matchday 26.
Al Hilal achieved their 31st straight win in all competitions by beating Al Ahdoud 3-0 at home, maintaining their 12-point lead at the top of the table over second-placed Al Nasr. » Abhu, who took second place from the bottom, 8-0.
Ruben Neves started and added two assists for Jesus’ team, which secured victory thanks to goals from Al Shehri in the 16th minute, Malcolm in the 66th minute and Al Dawsari in the 73rd.
It only took Ronaldo the first half – he was substituted at half-time – to complete another hat-trick, with pinpoint shots in the 11th, 21st and 42nd minutes.
