This is at least the third time during the election campaign that Porto’s president has suggested that the coach’s succession depends on his re-election.
Villas-Boas, it should be noted, said this Saturday that “if a person of character and word has declared that he will remain out of the elections, then it is worthy that the candidates do the same.”
The candidate also called Pinto da Costa’s accusation against the Super Dragons a “mythomania”: “I was informed that a rival list had contacted the fans and said that if they contacted him they would keep all their benefits.”
