A 29-year-old man was arrested this Wednesday for the attempted murder of a 26-year-old young man last December at a cafe in Parada de Gatim, Vila Verde. The victim was hit in the back, as a result of which his lungs were pierced while trying to break up the fight.
“After the first misunderstanding occurred in this space, the suspect returned to the scene accompanied by three more people, one of whom was his brother. With a knife or a razor, he ended up stabbing another customer in the back as he tried to disperse. fight, resulting in his lungs being pierced. danger to life,” reads a statement released by the Judicial Police (PJ).
During the JV investigation, another brother involved in the incident was also detained at the scene of the crime for possession of illegal weapons, who “was released by order of the judicial authority.”
The detainee was already present in court and a measure of coercion was applied to him in the form of periodic representations and forced behavior.
