PSD parliamentary leader Hugo Soares highlighted the Socialist Party’s “political hypocrisy” in proposals presented in parliament. “Where were you six months ago?” – he shot.

“Hearing the PS general secretary announce, for example, the abolition of tolls in the former SCUT, and seeing former government members stand up and applaud, is hypocrisy and a lie,” he said.

‘The country’s problem is not the rich’: IL talks about ‘envy’ and ‘smallness’ in leftist arguments

IL considered that the changes included in the Government Program were insufficient, although it acknowledged some of its concerns in the document, and called on the head of PSD/CDS-PP to “implement a new economic model.” This position was expressed by the parliamentary leader of the Liberal Initiative (IL) Mariana Leitan.

As an example, the leader of the IL parliament cited “the need to promote economic growth, reduce the tax burden, simplify and reduce bureaucracy, as well as the need to reduce taxes in the construction sector.”

“The government’s program does not meet the needs of the country. The country needs more, the Portuguese need much more,” he added.

“The country’s problem is not the rich, the problem is that we had left-wing policies that dictated the direction of the country’s development and made everyone poorer. “And only pettiness and envy can justify the insistence on profit and wealth when we should all want companies to make more and more profits and people to have more and more wealth,” he said.

Pedro Nuno Santos says AD program is ‘illusory’ and will cut off public service responses

PS Secretary General Pedro Nuno Santos stressed that the party will take a position of opposition to the government as it introduces measures that weaken public services and fail to value the Portuguese people.

“The PS will not allow itself to be annulled or betrayed by those who entrusted it with their votes, nor will it allow itself to be manipulated by the government’s manipulative maneuvers,” he said.

“Total and absolute irresponsibility, which Chega will not join”: Ventura on the proposals of the left

Chegi President Andre Ventura said that the PS, BE, PCP and Livre acted with “total and utter irresponsibility” and that they had “no shame or shame” in the statements they have made recently.

“The left wants to demand compliance with measures that the country cannot delay. Blok, PKP and Livre don’t speak for another day. But they left the country in its biggest quagmire since the events of April 25. modesty or shame. For PKP and bloc, the presentation of sentences ranges from irony to comedy. It is absolutely irresponsible for Chega not to join,” he said.

Ventura took the opportunity to challenge Ventura for right-wing causes and classified the budget as “betinho y pipi”. “It seems so, but it’s not so,” he thought.

Blocker Fabian Figueiredo considers the program “the key to Euromillions” for large companies

Left Bloc (BE) lawmaker Fabian Figueiredo reiterated the idea the party presented in Thursday’s debate, stressing that the program is intended for a “small elite” and “promotes social injustice.”

“The government program is the key to Euromillions for companies that have always depended on the state,” said the blocker, mentioning multinationals such as EDP and SONAE.

In Thursday’s plenary several parties called BE an “EDP obsessed” but the MP will now ensure that BE is about tackling inequality.”

“It’s in the name of this obsession with social injustice. We want to prevent young people from leaving the country. Portugal, where people work hard for little money. The government program does not intend to deal with this circumstance and wants to insist on the past. ”

Paulo Raimundo of the PKP says that from this government “one can only expect regression and exploitation.”

PCP Secretary General Paulo Raimundo confirmed that in the government program “everything is business”, in which macro companies and not the Portuguese are the main beneficiaries.

“We can only expect regression and exploitation from government actions. We want to confirm once again that they are not counting on PKP,” he emphasized.

The communist said that the executive branch is bringing “a bad memory of the Troika” with the help of the “eviction” program, which maintains the drama in which thousands of people live.

According to the MP, the government is trying to support policies based on the “productivity fallacy”, but this is doing little to improve the wage conditions of the Portuguese.

Paulo Raimundo considered it necessary this year to “establish a minimum wage of one thousand euros” and asked the executive not to put “patches here and there.”

“It is necessary to increase wages and put an end to instability,” he stressed.

“It benefits some, but harms many”: Ines Mendes Lopez do Livre on the election program

The leader of the Livre parliament, Isabel Mendez Lopez, called the latest debate “not at all ambitious”, which mainly discussed the “arrogance of some and others.”

“The country looks to the future with ambition. It’s not enough to say what she wants to say. The inclusion of individual measures on the part of the parties does not tell. A country with ambitions must be ambitious. This government program benefits some but harms many,” he ruled.

The MP believes that most companies in Portugal do not pay the IRC and that the government’s measures represent a “fiscal advantage”. “There is no updated information on working conditions. This does not correspond to April,” he said.

Inés Méndez López also found that the executive showed a lack of willingness to introduce a four-day week, a measure that could lead to “increased productivity and worker well-being.”

Paulo Nunzio of the CDS sees left-wing movements as “a competition between Lenists and Trotskyists.”

CDS-PP parliamentary leader Paulo Nuncio said the government has demonstrated initiative and ability to solve the problems of the country it inherited, saying the government marks a change in political approach.

According to the deputy, the no-confidence votes presented by left-wing parties represent “a competition between Lenists and Trotskyists for the leadership of the far left in Portugal.”

The PAN will abstain from the BE proposal and vote against the PCP proposal.

The debate begins a few minutes later than scheduled due to the delay of PAN’s sole deputy, Inés Souza Real. A PAN spokesman announced that the party would abstain from a vote of no confidence in BE and vote against the PCP, despite believing that the program does not deliver what was promised by the Democratic Alliance during the election period.
