Porto traffic police PSP arrested a 35-year-old man late on Tuesday after a chase that lasted several kilometers, during which the driver rammed at least three cars and threw a bag of drugs out the window.
The suspect began at 11:30 a.m. by disobeying orders to stop an unidentified PSP vehicle. He accelerated, drove through several arteries and collided with two moving vehicles on the A28.
Despite this, the man did not stop and continued his march. It was only intercepted in the middle of the Northern Motorway where it collided with a new vehicle in circulation near the A44 exit in the Coimbroes area of Gaya.
The driver and vehicle were taken to the Porto transport department. He had 901.11 grams of heroin on him, which led to his immediate arrest.
He will appear in court.
