On Tuesday, the Judicial Police (PJ) arrested a 42-year-old man in Guarda suspected of trying to kill his parents by poisoning. The killer used agricultural products to try to kill his parents, but the crime was solved in time. The parents underwent inpatient treatment, which required continued hospitalization.
The man suffered a psychotic break and had to be hospitalized. The suspect met with a witch who told him that “the devil lives in the bodies of his parents.” He was detained by the PS after being discharged from the hospital.
The arrest followed a search of a home and property in Guarda following a complaint from a family member of the victims. The suspect was caught red-handed by his sister, who reported the crime.
The suspect, who lived with the victims, was taken into custody. He is suspected of two counts of aggravated domestic violence and one count of aggravated menacing against his parents.
