Two injured in rollover accident on Estrada da Circunvalasan

Two people were injured this Wednesday afternoon in a rollover accident on the Areosa viaduct on the Estrada da Circunvalasan, between Pedrusos and Rio Tinto.
Correio da Mañan was told by the Subregional Command for Emergency Situations and Civil Protection of the Porto Metropolitan Region that the two wounded were treated on the spot by rescue teams, but refused to be transported to hospital.
According to the same source, the alarm was announced at 13:44, and as a result of the accident, traffic on the viaduct was completely blocked.
Present at the scene were the Pedrusos volunteer firefighters, the Areosa Rio Tinto volunteer firefighters, the INEM ambulance and the São João Hospital Ambulance and Resuscitation (VMER) ambulance.
The PSP Porto traffic service took responsibility for the incident.
