According to Europe Elects’ forecast for the European elections, the PS leads in voting intentions. The Socialists gain 31% of preferences, electing eight MEPs, one less than currently, against the Democratic Alliance’s six (25% and six elected, the SDP currently has six and the SDS has one).
With 18%, Chega will enter the European Parliament for the first time with four elected representatives, while the Liberal Initiative will also debut with 6% and one MEP.
