The calendar for television debates between the leaders of the lists in the European elections, which will take place on June 9, has already been determined. The five debates are divided between three universal channels: RTP, SIC and TVI. The clashes between the leaders of the list will begin on May 13 on TVI in the presence of Sebastian Bugalho (Democratic Alliance), Marta Temido (Socialist Party), João Cotrima Figueiredo (Liberal Initiative) and Francisco Pauperio (Livre), and will end on May 21 on RTP 1 with Marta Temido (PS), Sebastian Bugalho (AD), Antonio Tangier Correa (Cega) and João Oliveira.
The final debates on public television will take place on May 28 and 30. The first includes all party forces that have parliamentary representation, and the second includes candidates from parties that do not have parliamentary representation.
Let us recall that the European television debates now have a final version after the formats proposed by the three channels (the so-called face to face) were rejected by the PS and AD at the beginning of the month.
