According to the criminal case, Nathan Chasing Horse is charged with eight crimes, including sex trafficking, sexual assault of a child under the age of 16, and child abuse.
Prosecutors also filed an additional charge on Monday based on videos stored on the phone showing the sexual harassment of a minor, detectives said.
Chasing Horse played the part of the “Sioux who smiles a lot” tribesman in Kevin Costner’s 1990 Oscar-winning film.
