According to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA), maximum temperatures will rise from Tuesday, with maximum temperatures expected to exceed 30 degrees in some places on mainland Portugal.
This Monday is expected fromon the coast, partly cloudy or clear, moderate to strong wind and in the highlands.
Although minimum temperatures are likely to fall, maximum temperatures are expected to rise, at least in the northern and central interior regions.
In Lisbon on Wednesday the temperature is expected to be 28 degrees. On Thursday in the capital it will be 29 degrees, and on Friday – 31 degrees. In Vila Real the temperature will be around 29-31 degrees all week.
In Porto, temperatures reach 28 degrees over the weekend, with maximum temperatures starting at 21 this Monday and rising consistently.
Temperatures in Faro are expected to reach 33 degrees this Thursday.
Temperatures will continue to rise into the weekend.
