Strengthening the target is one of Sporting’s priorities in the summer market, with at least two targets on the agenda: Leo Jardim (Vasco da Gama) and Rui Silva (Betis).
The departure of the Spaniard Adan (contract expiration) and the injury of Franco Israel force SAD to do everything possible to ensure that the experienced goalkeeper enters the starting lineup. Brazilian Leo Jardim (29 years old) from Vasco da Gama is on the limited list, which follows the structure. He has a contract until 2025 and the extension process is frozen.
His good performances have already earned him a call-up to the Brazilian national team. He also has experience in European football, having already represented Rio Ave, Boavista and Lille.
Another name that has been mentioned is Rui Silva, who plays for Spanish club Betis. The 30-year-old Portugal international has already admitted that he would like to return to Portugal to represent a big club. He is a starter for the Andalusian national team, whose contract expires in 2020.
