According to the Judicial Police (PJ) in the Azores, the arrests of the 32-year-old woman and 24-year-old man “occurred following an investigation that began in December 2023.”
At the time, according to a released statement, “a woman was arrested in Ponta Delgada on the island of São Miguel in possession of 15 kilograms of hashish and one kilogram of cocaine.”
Subsequently, “the evidence collected allowed the identification of the supplier of the seized drug in Lisbon and justified the search of her house, during which she was detained along with her partner, since they were found in possession of approximately 600 individual doses of medium doses.” daily doses of hashish,” said a press release from the Azores Department of Criminal Investigations.
