Euskaltel-Euskadi announced this Wednesday, October 12, the extension for two seasons of the contract of the Biscayan runner Txomin Juaristifirst renewal confirmed by the Basque squad for the next course.
The orange team highlights that the cyclist from Markina-Xemein “has taken a leap forward and has been a reference” in laps of a week in recent months in which he has finished tenth in the Tour of Portugal and in the Spanish Championship in line, 13th in Poitou-Charentes, 14th in Luxembourg and 17th in Turkey.
“I am very happy to continue cycling, which is what I like, and in the home team. In addition, I have been here since the team started again in professionals”, emphasizes Juaristi, who facing 2023 wants to “continue with the dynamic” after showing that he can do the generals well, especially those that have a time trial.
The sports manager of the orange team, Jorge Azanza, affirmed that he is “very satisfied” with the season completed by Juaristi and especially with that second part in which “he has consolidated the ways that he was seen in the first years in the team”.
