Some “websites” of the Global Media Group have been subjected to a cyberattack that has so far not caused any problems for the group’s communications authorities, its president, Marco Galiña, told Lusa on Wednesday.
“We don’t have anything suitable yet, but we will be careful,” said the CEO of Global Media Group, owner of TSF, Diário de Notícias and Jornal de Notícias, among other publications.
According to Marco Galigni, the attacks were focused on old “sites” in “wordpress”.
“That’s what we know so far. [Temos] Everything is working, we are in touch with the team, everything is in working condition,” he stressed.
The cyber attack on the Global Media Group websites is spreading on social networks such as Twitter.
The https://life.dn.pt website is one of the targets of the attack, displaying the message “hacked by Cyber Team” on the main page.
Also on the site https://www.globalmediagroup.pt there is a post with the message “hacked by Cyber Team”.
A group called “Cyber Team” led by a Portuguese hacker known as “Zambrius” claimed in 2020 the author of a computer attack on the official page of the Portuguese Association of Football Referees (APAF) and revealed that he had access to the computer system of the Ministry of Health .
Also in 2020, the group publicly suggested a cyberattack on the Supreme Electoral Court (TSE) in Brazil.
