Father of a young Baraboo High School graduate Wisconsin, District Superintendent Rainey Briggs was forcibly removed as his daughter walked across the stage to receive a congratulatory handshake during a school graduation ceremony on Friday.
In accordance with Independentthe young woman’s father took the stage after his daughter received her diploma, and before the recent graduate could reach Rainey, the man grabbed the superintendent’s right arm and pushed him away.

After the incident, police removed the man from the school. In a statement, county spokeswoman Haley Wagner said the disorderly conduct charge against the man has been referred to the Sauk County District Attorney’s Office. “We would like to emphasize that the safety and well-being of our students, staff and community members is our top priority,” the statement said.
Former White House adviser and political commentator Keith Boykin shared the video with the following message: “But tell me again that we have never been a racist country.”
“The look of pure horror on my daughter’s face. A moment she should have remembered forever, ruined by her father’s hatred. Racism is truly a cancerous evil,” another user wrote.
