A statement from Public Safety Police explained that the man, of no fixed address, was accused of committing threatening robberies at commercial establishments with a large knife in May last year.
Using knives, he “forced the victims to hand over sums of money to the cash registers of institutions.” The note says that in one of the situations the victim even had to undergo hospital treatment.
The man who was present in court was taken into custody.
