Billboard named Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj the greatest rappers of all time. The publication published “Top 50 Rappers of All Time” (translated as “Top 50 Rappers of All Time”) this Wednesday to celebrate hip-hop’s 50th anniversary.
Topping the list is Jay-Z, and in tenth place is Nicki Minaj, who is now considered the best female rapper of all time.
Tupac, Eminem, The Notorious BIG, Snoop Dog and Nas also made the top 10.
Billboard reported that 40-year-old Niki from South Jamaica received the title for being a furious performer. “Niki is one of a dozen artists with over 100 Billboard Hot 100 entries and won the 2022 MTV Video Vanguard Award for her provocative music videos,” they tweeted.
Jay-Z, 53, has won 24 Grammys, sold 140 million records, and peaked at number 14 on the Billboard 200 No. 1. The rapper, married to Beyoncé, became the first hip-hop artist to become a billionaire in June 2019.
