UEFA will receive record revenue of €2.409 million from Euro 2024. This is a 26% increase on 2016, when the last European Championship was held before Covid. This increase is due to television rights and sponsorships.
571 million euros have been allocated to federations and clubs. How CM As previously reported, the winner of the competition can earn a maximum of 28 million euros. Clubs receive daily allowances while players are on loan to national teams. Referees earn €4.4 million, but when VAR technology is taken into account, the amount set aside for arbitration costs rises to €53.5 million.
